I used black dots so the laser cutter will create a hole. My idea is to use thread to connect the pieces together.
Here is the outcome with paper and blue-tac. This was a good tester because now I know that thread will work a lot better which a thicker card rather than normal paper. This was a good little exercise and well worth it. Mainly because now I know I'm going to use thread and tie the pieces together which will leaves little gaps in the model but when rested on the ground the will form on top of each other as one piece. I'm also thinking of storing my model into a wooden block to hold it up and so you can see each piece.
