This brainstorm is showing my ideas about what words I could use and how I could animate them in flash. I came up with several ideas but some words stood out more than others. I really like the idea of 'bounce' and 'split' and also 'earthquake'.

And here is my bounce brainstorming for my storyboard. But I ended up
not going along with the word bounce mainly because its a word that can
be very short in producing (which I found out), also because it was a
bit mainstream and easy to do and I wanted a bit of a challenge.
